A New Love: Neutrogena Cleanser Review

I hate my skin. I truly do. I have redness, acne scars, and am just recently trying to repair the surface of my skin from a brutal sunburn. Yes, I admit it. Although, I have many facial skin problems, one of the biggest things is cleanliness. In the summer, it's always nice to have fresh, clean skin after all the sweat and oil build up that happens throughout the day. I've somewhat recently (being recently as in a few weeks or so), picked up a new daily cleanser to try and relieve my skin revolved issues and to change up my skincare routine for the season.
The cleanser that caught my eye was the Neutrogena "Deep Clean, Oil-Free ,Cream Cleanser". I have tried one of the brand's cream cleansers in a sample and fell in love with the formula, and the Deep Clean and Oil-Free perks to this one really sold it for me.
I added some pictures of a few details that caught my eye.
And yet another, more detailed description of the cleanser and it's perks.
I must say; I was truly impressed with this product. It really is a refreshing cleanser and I can literally feel the formula penetrating the surface of my skin and really getting deep within my pores to clean them. The refreshing aspect of the cleanser has a cooling affect once you rinse that's great for those early mornings when you need a little skincare wake up call.
I have noticed that my skin feels a lot cleaner afterwards (the cleanest it's ever felt compared to other cleansers I've used). Thankfully, this cleanser has also diminished, if not almost eliminated the excess oil in my skin. My pores have gotten smaller due to the lack of dirt, oil, and grime, and my skin feels overall softer. I love this product (and most likely will be repurchasing this as needed)!
I highly recommend this cleanser and hope that you've found this review helpful! If you have any skincare products that you're loving and would recommend, please let me know in the comments!
Happy Friday!! :)

Lusting After Wasteland

After watching one of grav3yardgirl's videos on YouTube, I got introduced to a website called Wasteland, and fell in love with some of the items they were selling. The pieces that Wasteland carries include closet filling beauties from brands like Jeffrey Campbell and UNIF. Although the products range in price, Wasteland is a bit pricey for my liking, but I can't help but lust after some of their gorgeous merchandise!
Here's an example:

See what I mean? The examples above show off some of the cheaper items in Wasteland's shop, but they're all still great pieces! (If only a budget lover like me could afford some of them) *sigh*

If you're interested in Wasteland merchandise, click here.

I hope you enjoyed this short little post. As a disclaimer, these are all my personal opinions and I am not being compensated by mentioning this shop at all. I just felt the need to share this. Although, I do hope that you might have found some new fashion eye-candy through this post. :)
'Till next time,

Monday Manis, Mantras and Memories

Yay! (at least in my mind) Monday posts are back! I've recently went on a camping trip (well I referred to it as "Glamping", considering the fact that there was the luxury of showers and a pool), and I have been trying to catch up on all my social media sites. So, it shouldn't be a surprise that 80% of this post is going to include things from Instagram. Yes. I know I'm addicted. Anyway, let's get on to the inspiration and the manispiration :)

I found a few really cute and summery manis that I thought I would share:

Can we just take a moment and admire the hard work behind this sophisticated, yet totally summer appropriate creation? Love this.

So amazing, yet so difficult looking. *sigh*

And amping it up even more; there's this beauty.

I snapped a few nature loving pics during my trip and thought I'd share mother nature's masterpiece with you. (I miss the scenery already)
(Ok, so these weren't technically from the campsite. Instead they were different locations in the area that I had to capture.)

And last but not least, the mantras. One of them is more of a food for thought, but I thought you wouldn't mind. :)

Alright, so that was it for this week's Monday post. I hope you enjoy it, and hope that your week is one that you collect happy memories from. :)
'Till next time,

Spring is in the Air: Trends That I Love

Spring is my favorite season, and let's be honest, it's the season that has some of the cutest trends. This post is just going to be some of those trends that I found to be the most fun to rock this spring.

Starting off with some clothing trends, I've been seeing a lot of pieces inspired by the flowers that make this season iconic. I love this garden inspired print and love the fact that it has blown up for this season.

Another one of my favorite runway exposed trends is leather. Of course, I more wearble version would be a little lighter in weight, but hey, it's still a great statement piece.

A really girly spring trend is lace. This is my favorite trend so far this year and I'm looking forward to rocking a lot of it for the next few months. :)

As for the makeup, major liner has been a big hit recently, whether its the classic cat eye or the dramatic wing, this trend balances the flirty spring threads with a hint of sexy eyes.

Spring is always a site of color and one of this years spring trends is the appearance of cool colored brights surrounding the eyes.

My last spring makeup favorite is ditching the matte powdered winter skin and trading it in for glowing, radiant skin that suggests the emense amount of life behind those slighltly flushed cheeks.

We can't forget the spring hair of course! There are some really fun and playful styles this season.
I'm always a lover of the classic braid, but for spring, there are so many cute and new ways to wear one.
This spring, accessories aren't just in jewelry, but have been seen decorating the latest hairstyles.
And last but not least, there's the new craze; the knot bun (which of course isn't meant to be confused with the top knot)
This spring is full of so many great trends that I'm excited about. What's you're favorite trend so far?

Style Spotlight: Statement Rings

There's been a lot of really cute trends circulating throughout the fashion world this spring, but I'm currently obsessing over an accessory that was introduced a while back. Statement rings have always been a favorite of mine. I find them to be a unique way of expressing your style, and with so many choices and designs, you can never have too many of them. Am I the only one who loves this artistic finger decor?

When I said there were a lot of statement rings to choose from, I meant it. Here are a few examples of some of the rings that I found that were some of the coolest and cutest styles of statement rings that I've seen. :)

Yes, they make rings with miniature architecture sitting on top. I find them adorably intricate. :)
I love anything vintage inspired, and this ring has all of the pretty pastels, embellishments, and a gorgeous floral design that just screams spring!
OK, how cute is this little bird? I can just picture him perched next to a gorgeous mani.
This ring has a gorgeous burgundy stone, and an array of gold chains overlapping it that gives it a pretty edge.
As you can see, I love statement rings; whether they're on trend or not. Their a beautiful way to dress up a mani or just a playful way of showing off your accessories. So tell me, are statement rings an essential part of your jewelry collection?
