Avon just recently released a new spin on mascara that is a little intimidating to say the least. The new Mega Effects Mascara has a huge brush that isn't like any other mascara brush I've seen, and supposedly, it can adjust to different angles for lashes. The product's retail value is $10.00 and you can view it here.
I have included a few pictures from the Avon website to give you an idea of this so called "revolution" in mascara.

The description on the product is as follows:
"This breakthrough mascara provides 24-hour volume, leaving lashes darker, denser and more dramatic. Get ready for a corner to corner lash transformation with our first ever Wonderbrush.
The Wonderbrush bends and adjusts to multiple angles capturing every lash, top to bottom. The unique brush fits the natural shape of lashes, coating them evenly with formula from root to tip. The extra surface area of the Wonderbrush bristles are designed to deliver 40% more mascara to the lash.*
Mega Effects Mascara provides a clump-proof, sweat-proof, non-flaking and non-smudging experience"
The description makes me feel a bit better, but it's still a bit odd in my book. Avon even released a YouTube advertisment:
Allure magazine also did a report on this mascara that had a more positive tone and that included tips for product application. You can view that you can get a glimpse at below:
There has also been several other YouTube tutorials on this mascara and many reviews so far.
Avon.com and makeupalley.com consumers all rated the mascara a 5 out of 5 stars rating and all had positive things to say about this mascara.
All in all, this mascara "revolution" craze behind Avon's new Mega Effects seems to hold truth. This may even be a mascara that I would like to try (well, at least when I get over those freaky bristles!).
I hope you found this little report helpful, and if I do end up purchasing this mascara, I'll be sure to put up a review on it. :)
'Til next time,
