Mani Mondays, Mantras, and Mega Self Discipline

Another Monday post! :) And this one is just a tad bit different. This week, the third Monday "M" subject is a little more personal, and a little less mainstream, but, before I get into that, let's get on with the nails shall we?

A pretty pastel rose is always a nice touch in nail art. :)

Absolutely LOVE the geometric action going on here!

Florals are always my favorite!
Alright, now we can get into a more serious topic in this week's post. Now, some people may not consider this a very serious topic, but it can be a difficult one.
Lately, I've been trying to break some really bad habits of mine (and no, none of them include a smoking or drinking problem). I am currently battling two different anxiety caused habits, and on top of that, I'm trying to eat healthier and "diet". Now, this isn't a surprise because of the fact that I'm an overachiever. Let's just get one thing straight though; it's extremely difficult.
For those of you trying to tackle the elimination of one of your own habits, I hope some of my own experiences will help you in a way. I have found that I sometimes need to mentally slap myself in pre-relapse in order to keep myself from going back to square one. A thing that I have discovered helps is keeping yourself busy with something that does not relate to your habit at all. If my mind ever does stray, I am hard of myself and am constantly forcing the better outcome in mind to try and keep myself on track. Constantly looking into the good that comes out of breaking the habit and the freedom that follows really helps. It's a daily struggle, and I've heard it takes about 21 of those days to officially break that habit. However, I'm not that far yet. Anyway, I hope this little bit of my two cents has helped some readers to keep up their war with their habits. If not, I at least hope the read was some what enjoyable. :)

And now, for the inspiration and motivation every soul needs to get through the week. (Not to mention the hardest day of it)

Motivation and an inspiring woman's words make a great mantra.

Gratitude is often overlooked, and we should remind ourselves of what we are thankful for.

Well, that's all for this week's Monday post. I hoped you enjoyed it and pulled some inspiration from it. I found that I liked talking about something a little more personal this week. I may not do it often, but it's nice to know that I can have an opinion that has the potential to be both relate able and helpful. :)
Have an Amazing Week,
